This residential renovation reimagines the primary suite by enclosing an existing roof deck to create expanded, light-filled living space without increasing the home's footprint. Designed for an environmentally sensitive site, the project carefully works within existing development constraints while maximizing the property's connection to the surrounding landscape. New expansive glazing enhances natural light and frames panoramic views, creating a more open and immersive living experience. Woodworks Architects is leading the transformation of the historic Warren Green building in the heart of downtown Warrenton, restoring its original purpose as a boutique hotel after decades of use as county offices. The project will reintroduce an upscale hospitality destination featuring more than 25 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and a full-service restaurant, bringing new energy to Main Street. By carefully balancing historic preservation with modern amenities, the design celebrates the building's legacy while creating a memorable experience for visitors.
