Our Story

Alkemy Coffee Co. is a family-owned coffee shop in Flemington, New Jersey, created by husband-and-wife team Ben and Valentina.

ABOUT BEN & VALENTINA

Ben and Valentina first met in a coffee shop, where Valentina was working as a barista while studying herbalism and aromatherapy. They bonded over their shared love of coffee, creativity, and community — and years later, when the right space opened up, they took the leap and opened their dream coffee shop together.

VALENTINA

Valentina brings her background as a certified aromatherapist and herbalist into Alkemy’s unique menu, creating apothecary-inspired lattes, herbal teas, wellness potions, and seasonal drinks that are intentional, science-based, and delicious. Her approach blends flavor, function, and beauty, offering drinks you won’t find anywhere else.

BEN

Ben brings a DIY ethic shaped by more than 30 years in the music industry, along with a passion for community building and creating spaces where people feel connected. His creative spirit helps make Alkemy more than a coffee shop — it is a gathering place for families, friends, artists, local businesses, and the Flemington community.
