Health Clinic in Shakardarah

Political instability and recent restrictions on women have worsened public health gaps.

Most rural families rely on agriculture and cannot afford private health services.

This clinic could transform healthcare access for thousands in the area.

Why the Clinic Matters...

  • Lack of Access: Hosayn Kot and surrounding villages currently have no government or private clinics.

  • Health as a Priority: Locals state health services are needed even more than food for their families.

  • Geographic Isolation: Residents walk several kilometers to reach basic care, leading to high rural death rates.

Regional & National Health

Afghanistan’s health services have grown but remote districts remain underserved.

WHO & international partners (Qatar, Japan, EU) are active, but aid is focused in other provinces.

Shakardarah has a population of 93,001; many live in poverty and informal settlements.

There is a urgent need for women’s and children’s healthcare. Economic hardship preventing travel for treatment. Willingness to assist with local setup and awareness.
